Schoch's Staff

Dealer Principal

Rose Schoch

A brief history of how we got started begins with Cal & Rose Schoch selling Harley's bikes in 1966. Cal was an Air Force weatherman in WW II, based in Goose Bay, Labrador. After the war, he started a service station in Stroudsburg, PA. but in 1966 his life was changed forever. As he tells it, he got into the Harley business because Rose was reading a service station trade magazine that said, "in order for a service station to survive in the sixties, it had to diversify". About two weeks after the article, a Harley salesman offered Cal & Rose a dealership. "The man was six foot five and 250 pounds if he was an ounce, and said "how would you like to be a Harley-Davidson dealer?" Forty years later, Schoch's still sell Harley-Davidson motorcycles. In those years, a lot of changes have come to pass. From the small beginnings in a cramped service station on Main Street, we are now in a larger, more modern facility. We have a convenience store, a service station, and it's all right at the entrance and exit to Route 33/209. As we continue to grow and expand, we are always looking for quality people in sales, parts and service. Please give us a call to explore existing opportunities.
